Flow measurement with primary elements and Differential Pressure transmitter
Flowmetering for gas liquid and steam applications based on differential pressure with square root output is a well proven and well adapted technology for flow measurement. Different primary ele-ments like orifice plate, flow nozzle, Venturi tube, Pitot tube, flow wedge and others can be selected according the application requirements and the flow process.
Modular and compact flowmeter solu-tions, ready to be installed including isolating taps and/or manifold are directly mounted on the flow element. The transmitter calibration is adapted to the selected primary element and the flow condi-tions of each application.
A maximum line pressure of up to 15000 PSI (1035bar) can be supported by the DP transmitter and opens new flow measurements for Oil & Gas applications.
Portaflow-C
This ultrasonic portable flowmeter consists of two sensors clamped on the pipe (DN 13 to 6000 mm, according to sensors) and of a digital converter operating on internal battery or on power line. It can measure bi-directional flow speeds from -32 to +32 m/s. A large LCD graphic screen, a set of pop-up menus and a reduced number of keys make of this device a simple, powerful and friend-ly tool very appreciated by every person wishing to do a punctual measure of flow. In addition to the display of flow and totaliza-tion, the PORTAFLOW-CTM also offers functions of data logging (stored in a SD memory card), of graphic display of the mea-sured value and of the resultant sound wave, and the storage in memory of 1 to 20 configurations and consumed heat quan-tity computation. USB port is used to connect a PC. Provided with an optional printer for screen hard copy. The stan-dard converter have IP64 protection.
Time Delta-C
This ultrasonic fixed type flowmeter consist of two sensors clamped on the pipe (DN 13 to 6000 mm according to the sen-sors) and of a digital converter, remote mounted. It can measure bi-directional flow speeds from -32 to +32 m/s. A display and an integrated keyboard allow the user to configure and to check all the settings. In addition to the 4-20 mA output, these flowmeters are equipped with a totalization function, an automatic range change, 2 alarms, 2 configurable contact outputs and relay out-put. The converter and the sensors have IP66 protection.
