Each system consists of :
* Netstal PET 2000-3700 R Preform Injection Moulding machine

– Power consumption for processing 1 kg raw PET does not exceed 0.215 kWh.
– Extrusion efficiency is at least 550 kg/h.
* Piovan DP644 PET drying system
– Max. throughput : 560 kg/h
– Hopper model TN4000 (Hopper capacity 4000L)
* Piovan RPA1200 Mould Dehumidifier
– 1200 m3/h process air flow
– Max 35°C and max 90% R.H. environmental limit conditions to maintain a good working efficiency of the unit.
* Piovan CA4222 Air-cooled water chiller

The following moulds are available :
(2) Otto Hofstetter 60 cavity Preform Injection Moulds – including Hotrunner system with individually heated nozzles and pneumatic needle shut-off. Efficiency is at least 20,000 preforms/hr. (calculated for 28 g product weight/product wall thickness 2.6 mm)
– Cold half and change parts for 26.5 and 28.0gm PCO 1881 preforms
– Cold half and change parts for 30, 34.5 and 39.0gm PCO 1881 preforms
Working hours (October 23 2017):
* machine #1 (26.5-28gm): 22,676 hrs.
* machine #2 (30-34.5-39 gm) : 20,150 hrs.
Cycle times:
– 26.5 gm – 11.0 sec
– 28.0 gm – 12.0 sec
– 30.0 gm – 13.5 sec
– 34.5 gm – 14.0 sec
Both systems can be inspected in production and are in very good condition.
